intro

'3.1' is a subterranean train driver. Beyond her day job however, she is an unobtrusive photographer and all-round creative being.
Life for her began in autumn of the late ’80s in London’s district of Camden and from an early age she experienced a difficult childhood framed by her love of music (studying classical piano from the age of 6), which often results in the views she has on life today. Her online presence has been in existence for well over 9 years as she began exploring the depths of the World Wide Wait in a small Internet cafĂ© in East London every Saturday morning when 52kbps dial-up was all the rage. Eventually, she managed to persuade her parents to wire this technology through into the home and it was then her alter-ego *version-3-point-1 was formed. She undertook blogging for several years (starting in 2003) and it was then she found her place in the photography world. Cultivating this for years onwards both online and offline, this has resulted in her developed love for the art today.
With an INFP Myers-Briggs type, you’ll find that 3.1 is not your usual introvert (they’re not always they shy and retiring type, you know) and thus enjoys a good chinwag with a good friend or two over a vodka and cranberry at her regular drinking establishments. She also loves good music, good food, chocolate and cats. Bizarrely, she also has an unhealthy interest in London Underground (despite working for them) and its rich heritage, but easily shrugs off any labels of being a train spotter.
3.1 has lived on pretty much all points of the city – North, South, East and West – but has found she much prefers the West at the moment, what with living right next to the River Thames, with Chiswick and Kew just a stone's throw away. Amidst the narrowboats, canal locks, and the marina, 3.1 lives with her better-skilled train driver boyfriend, far too much stuff, and a Brompton bicycle. (But, unfortunately, no cats.)
